Amaretto Chicken

6 boneless and skinless chicken breast halves
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlie powder
1 tsp curry powder
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup Amaretto liqueur
Grated rind of 1/2 lemon plus juice of 1/2 lemon
1-1/2 cups chicken broth
1 tbsp cornstarch
6 patty shells (these can be purchased frozen)

Cut chicken into l-inch wide strips. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder and curry powder. Roll in flour. Heat butter in large skillet. Brown chicken on all sides. Add mushrooms, amaretto, lemon rind, and juice. Simmer 5 minutes. Mix chicken broth and cornstarch. Stir into skillet. Stir mixture over low heat until it bubbles and thickens. Serve in individual patty shells.
